Equestrian Centres

- Bachelor Diploma Essay

Abstract

This project presents the most interesting stables that were created in the world. They were designed from the heart of full love for horses.

One of the most interesting desings the equestrian center in Melbourne, Australia. It was designed by Seth Stein Architects & Waston Achitecture and Design. Created by leading architects, the project combines modern ideas of the British studio with an excellent knowledge of the cultural context of region taken from Australian professionals. Project became the most recognizable building in the region. The stable is arranged on a crescent plan and contains a small pool for horses.

Another example is the equestrian center Figueras Polo Stables in General Rodriguez, Argentina, designed by Estudio Ramos. The project was commissioned by a professional polo player Nacho Figueras. The wings of the building have been partially hidden in the slopes of natural landscapes.

The Elite Eguestrian Center in Zenatz, in Spain created by Francisco Mangado. The goal of the designers was to create buildings that are interconnected and open to nature - an idea full of simplicity and transparency.

The next project was made by is Casey Brown Architecure. Stables were created in the picturesque Maoke Mountains. Its modern shape stands out from the landscape.

In Klagsham, Sweden, stables were created by FOJAB arkitekter. Relationships between buildings are created to make movements in and outside the buildings as natural as possible, without a sharp border between the buildings and the outside.

"La Llena" Equestrian Center in La Llauna, in Spain, was based on an existing building, which was expanded. This task was undertaken by Vicente Sanablo and Jaumne Colom. The most recognizable part of the project became the terrace, covered with wood and natural grass.

The Stork Nest Farm, in Dvur Semtin, in the Czech Republic designed by SGL Project is extremely ingenious. It was inspired by the form of a stork's nest and modern technology.

Equestrian Center in Leca de Palmeria, in Portugal was designed by Carlos Castanheira and Clara Bastai.  Even in the sunny climate of Portugal you can not always be outside,  due to most aggressive aspects of the climate, such as storms or storms, they had to create building to protect animals. The horse boxes have two outputs - depending on the weather, they can be led out through the corridor or directly outside.

The quintessence of creating a stable is love for animals, care for their health and comfort. In the background it is also easy to see the development of architecture - preferences and values, practicality, aesthetics and integration with the environment.
