Inspired by words of Walter Gropius, and based on main establishments of Bauhaus School of Arts we reinterpreted the concept of the semi-detached houses in Dessau, designed by Gropius for the Bauhaus masters. Simplicity, functionalism, comfort, clear vision, light and the timeless  beauty, still have great influence on the architecture and the design. We were also inspired by great Composition from Masters' Portfolio of the Staatliches Bauhaus by Laszlo Moholy-Nagy (1923). The masters’ houses combine private space (bedrooms, bathrooms) located on the first floor, semi private big open spaces on the ground floor (such as kitchen, dining room and living room). Both houses are enriched with library in the most extended parts. Semi detached house is connected with common area – 2 floors big workshop for painting, sculpture, and other crafts, which will be shared by two artists, accessible through offices on the ground floor.
